Which they walk away from whenever it suits them. Elayne ran away for the second time knowing full well the political damage she would cause. Knowing full well that her death/disappearance could result in civil war and the deaths of thousands. She knew there was potential for her running away to create an actual war with the White Tower, yet instead of following that duty she leaves to go on another adventure. If she had followed her obligation she would have stayed in the Tower and worked hard to earn the ring then returned to Andor to prepare herself for a very long rule.
