Disappointed, shocked, relieved. The Shrike Send a noteboard - 03/03/2017 04:44:56 PM

After completing WoT, how did you feel? Happy, sad, relieved, angry, disappointed, satisfied.....combo of many things?

My first reaction was relieved, it's finally over and I know the end. I also had some disappointment that RJ wasn't the one to complete it, but I know that he wrote the final scene, so that was comforting.

It didn't end everything as completely as it should have. The Seanchan situation for instance. Also never saw the Seanchan Ogier meet the Randland Ogier. That was disappointing. Sanderson gave us more male POVs but didn't do as good a job as he should have ultimately with the true ending.

Yes, Rand has a new body and seems to be able to access some sort of new power. But was that enough really?

Ah well.

Personally, "religion" in WoT makes perfect sense... For the AoL. Not so much the Third Age - 09/03/2017 01:55:29 AM 1484 Views
