Well, I couldn't really think of anywhere else I could post this and people might appreciate it. But anyways, I was on Reddit (sorry) and saw someone with the username Lews-Therin-Telamon and felt inspired to have some fun(I am username abothanspy). The context was a thread for people to discuss an upcoming American Football matchup(the AFC championship game between the Patriots and Broncos). Anyways, he made a joke that his team(the patriots) would win because of something stupid that someone else said(doesn't really matter). In any case, I responded with (in my opinion) a pretty choice quote from Ishamael in the EotW prologue that fit rather well. And later hit him with another Ishamael quote to seal the deal. The best part is that my team(the Broncos) did end up winning the game, which I guess also represents a win for the shadow based on this interaction but whatevs, we're going to the Super Bowl!

Anyways, it was a good excuse to come back to this site after years away(I mostly lurked even back then, going all the way to the last couple years of wotmania) for a sec and share this. Hopefully one of you reads this and is amused. Hope you all are doing well!
