This started out with you nitpicking on my comment. I didn't even single Egwene out, I mentioned her with three other characters, and said more about the others than her. You drew it out, and opened up the argument, and then turned to making remarks about me, rather than the books or characters. You made comments about a person, whom you don't know and have never met, in defense of an imaginary person. There are proportionate responses, okay? For the most part I don't even care that you make these comments, as the pebble in London thing goes both ways, but this is stooping to some really low crap here. The thing is, it seems pretty dubious, since you just can't let stuff lie, and have to keep harping on people's projected reasons and mindsets. At worst, I affect an extreme position about a fictional character. You're the one who keeps trying to make it about me and then claiming indifference. At best, you are roused by my injustice toward An Imaginary Person, to make negative or unfounded comments about me. And then criticizing how I "talk" to other people, as if that has anything to do with your behavior.
You were, in effect, calling us BOTH liars, by claiming the other guys were my alt IDs. That is intellectually dishonest and personally ruder than any swear words.
And this is what you do all the time. You chime in when someone disagrees with me, with comments about me. You extrapolate attitudes and behaviors you have no way of knowing or seriously inferring. You claim you want to talk about WoT, but you won't stick to the topic, and keep trying to make it personal. And there is a big difference between calling someone stupid for a particular position or statement, and dismissing an argument because the person is "stupid" or "biased". You guys do stuff like this all the time. If a particular example is cited, you scoff at it as one little detail. If a general trend is noted, you claim it's exaggeration. If multiple incidents are enumerated, you sneer at the poster for not having a life or engage in speculation about his personality as if it is a defect, and then you turn around and claim you love discussing WoT and having information or opinions on it. Except anyone else who also does is "crazy". And now you guys, after bringing the whole point up, are now falling all over yourselves to pretend indifference and innocence.
This is a pattern of YOUR behavior. You are the common denominator in this sort of thing. I don't go around saying your contentions about Lanfear are illegitimate because you're incapable of rationally assessing her, or picking fights with you. But you keeping having arguments that involve outside stuff.
So believe what you want.
Believing what we want makes us crazy, and has you slandering us.
Show me a misquote, and prove that something I've said that was not true was a lie. Do this, just once, instead of throwing accusations of serious misbehavior or claims of gross personality flaws from behind the safety of the internet.
You're the one who keeps bringing up popularity. You have on multiple occasions, cited an alleged fixation with popularity on my part, you have claimed I falsified responses to my own posts, apparently to present an image of popularity, and you always fall back on how everyone hates me as a final argument. Assuming that's a real thing. I've never noticed people hating on me in particular, aside from maybe you. Unless you want to show me some of that bad reception? Or maybe you're the one who "distorts, misquotes and even lies about" me?
