So about Egwene... Sidious Send a noteboard - 28/12/2015 04:26:47 PM

Egwene.... They were all praised excessively with little to show for it.

I don't really want to get into an Egwene fight, and I already know that you hate Egwene beyond all reason. However, I would like to criticize your statement for being factually untrue on the basis of three facts:

  1. Egwene saved the WT from the Seanchan. Without her there is zero doubt that the whole Tower would have been enslaved as damane.

  2. Egwene destroyed Mesaana.

  3. Egwene killed M'Hael.

Those three deeds alone make her worthy of praise. I'm sure you can spin it dramatically e.g. "Mesaana wasn't all that dangerous anyway" or "Rand saved the world, so nothing Egwene does means anything" but I think for an objective person these three deeds are worthy of high praise for any member of the Light. To say that 'Egwene has very little to show for it' isn't biased, it's factually untrue even to a casual reader. She has without a doubt done the most for the Light after Rand.
