Graendal told Sammael she likes them tall. 6' is pretty tall for a man. I was thinking about 5'10 for Demandred and Sammael, cementing the almost theme.... Not quite "tall" for a man. Rand also seems very tall.... He's supposed to be of enviable height. No one wants to be 6'6... I know, I have cousins who are so tall and they hate it. Most women don't like it either according to them. Apart from not being able to sit in cars or plane seats easily, its ungainly personally and socially.

In the first couple of books, Rand got a few comments on his height, and sometimes he seemed awkward because of it, but by tSR when he had his 'air of command' thing going there was less of that. Kind of like how the initial impression of Moiraine was that even though she was short, she carried herself as if she was the right height and other people were gangling freaks. I imagine that once Rand got that self-assurance, people felt puny around him.
The number of very tall men is quite remarkable. I'm 6' and most men are as tall or shorter than me. It makes more sense that Rand is about 6'2 with the male Forsaken a little shorter, and Aielmen at about 6'4 with Bael at a healthy 7'.
Anyway to each his own. If Rahvin can have ++1 power then it matters even less that he is 6'6...
I'm enjoying reading the Companion and it's grammar. It's as if a Japanese person who is learning English wrote many of the parts.... "Mesaana's mind was destroyed during this mental battle..."
Heh, yeah.

It's probably why he had all these notes for them to check.

Given how big deal Min's shortness was, I'm surprised she's taller than Egwene or Nynaeve *NM*

You misspelled "its" as "it's" in a sentence complaining about grammar. *NM*
