View original postI only brought up the Wise One aging thing as a tangent.
Well, I am the last person to ever criticize a tangent; they are too often criticized and mischaracterized as non sequiturs, IMHO.
View original postIt is worth nothing that in the notes, per Terez, Moiraine's strength after her time with the Finns is the lowest strength level. She is weaker than Morghase, and weaker than Sorelia. She doesn't have any difficulty grasping the source, of course. I suspect Moiraine is about as strong as Leanne was with Forkroot, and that Morghase/Sorelia would be around where Egwene was with Forkroot.
THAT is certainly interesting, and (with Moiraines demonstrated post-Finn ability) "strongly" argues the biggest factors in Sorilea displaying more ability than Morgase was more training and experience, not necessarily more strength.

Since she looks her age I suspect reaching it is almost entirely due to natural longevity
