View original postif she touched it ONCE, she would require enough training to control it so or she would have died of OP sickness. Fact is her ability is so small that it takes all of her ability simply to touch the Source.
Hence her description makes clear that "training" was quite perfunctory, like "training" a hampster to NOT go on a shooting spree. Channeling sickness only occurs as a consequence of untrained channeling, something Morgase was unlikely to ever manage again even without training in control, so "training" her to prevent that required little time or effort. Frankly, MORGASE does not make sense as Jordan describes Randland: Rather than the instant-addiction-like attitude of all other channelers, she views all her channeling experiences as arduous rather than ardorous. So although Malden shows she COULD have developed the ability to embrace the Source again, the intervening decades show she WOULD NOT have, trained or not.
Regardless, learning how to NOT load a gun grants absolutely no knowledge or experience in how to fire it accurately.

Soriliea has far more ABILITY because that is a function of training and experience as well as strength, and Sorilea has almost infinitely more of the first two. That says nothing about their relative STRENGTHS.
