25: Remember back when mocking and belittling and outright cursing out a fellow Two Rivers who held a leadership position was good for him? You know, those dozens of times when Egwene did it to Rand? Well, that’s not a thing anymore. Now, Egwene has her fellow Two Rivers girls punished for sticking their tongues at her.
This right here was the point where I said 'man, what a bitch'.
I mean, I get she wouldn't want to lose face. But I always found her justification that she 'couldn't chat with novices' to be incredibly weak and self-serving.
At the very least, spend 10 damn minutes to huddle up with the women you grew up with and just say you need them to understand that they can't treat you the same way they used to, before you punish them.
If they still refuse, fine, punish 'em. But at least give them the chance to see that things have changed. They deserved it.
Of course, as you say, in Egwene's eyes, nobody deserves a chance, except Egwene.
