When and how was Egwene "forced?" beetnemesis Send a noteboard - 16/05/2014 04:09:59 AM

Later on in the series, it's mentioned that Egwene was "forced" in her power- that is, instead of reaching her channeling potential naturally, she was somehow stressed and pushed to reach her potential much quicker than the norm.

My questions is... when did this happen? When it's mentioned, it's very matter-of-fact, but I can't really remember any specific instance of it happening.

I mean, Egwene came to the Tower within a couple months of Elayne. As far as we know, they had the same training. They went off on the same adventures. True, Egwene was captured by the Seancean, but was that long enough to be "forced?"

So, when did this happen?

I amuse myself.
