His comments about his characterization of Mat in the "What I learned" section are pretty interesting. It sounds like he didn't even read Crossroads of Twilight
indeed... i figured hindestap was his idea. it just didn't seem to fit into jordan's wotverse
the second and third time I've read through I have skipped over the Hinderstap section. It adds nothing to the story, and I don't like Mat at all.
