Way too many of them got nothing and in the end were completely, or almost completely, a waste of ink.

I think that R. J. would have given Bela at least a paragraph for her death scene or at least minor mentions from her former riders over the years about their mounts tiring or something to make us think of her.

And honestly, I do think he meant for all of the main characters to survive. Egwene's story arc actually ended on multiple odd notes, and I think at some point, Mr. Sanderson was just trying to avoid botching it!

What was the "ending" that RJ had in mind for all of these years? - 20/03/2013 04:37:22 AM 1494 Views
That was what he wrote, so I would say yeah - 20/03/2013 03:50:40 PM 923 Views
But was it only that one small, specific scene? Not the entire epilogue chapter? *NM* - 20/03/2013 08:13:14 PM 425 Views
No, it was the whole epilogue - 20/03/2013 08:29:39 PM 1155 Views

The entire story, including the re-Sealing of Shai'tan's bore, was RJ's story. - 20/03/2013 11:56:45 PM 921 Views
Oh, I'm sure BS wrote all of the main points that RJ wanted..... - 21/03/2013 12:51:08 AM 966 Views
Rand was already mad by that point. This is pretty well established. *NM* - 21/03/2013 04:02:33 AM 372 Views
I'm of the opinion that we we will never know the exact details - 21/03/2013 10:11:43 PM 891 Views
I like to think that he intended to give more of the secendary characters their payoff - 22/03/2013 02:48:47 AM 784 Views
