View original postGreat point about the action in the series being so condensed! Seriously, besides DW in LoC, there was barely any battles/actions in 8-9 books.

I know. If I have to pick one thing about the books that drives me mad, it's the pacing and arrangement, er and also the repetitiveness. I'll always love them, but I do find quite a bit to bitch about, unfortunately. I'm never sure whether it's fair or not.
