IIRC, we had a similar discussion at wotmania over the summer. To recap the points I made at that time, the Rand plus three women on a boat prophecy clearly deals with events after TG (clearly at least in my mind), so I don't think anything's to say that other prophecies can't as well. Moreover, we know that everything won't be hunky dory after TG, otherwise there would be nothing to tell in the outrigger books. This isn't to say that the great battle must refer to TG, just that it could and likely does.
