The complete lack of participation on the message board is kind of a testament to how little the book seems to have engaged the readership.
I agree... there definitely seems to be less discussion about this than in previous releases (minus the posts celebrating The End, of course). But to be fair, most of the discussion in previous releases was theorycrafting, of which there is much much less now that the story is Over.
So... What was your favorite and Lear favorite:
1. Scene in the book
1. Scene in the book
Hmm, have to think about this a bit more.
2. Plot wrap up
Best: I think Rand kind of riding off to do this own thing.
Worst: So many important characters that weren't addressed at all.
3. Character death
Best: Demandred of course... what a way to go.
Worst: Padan Fain has got to be the worst one by far... total bullshit out of nowhere with that one and a complete waste of a character.
4. New tidbit of knowledge (OP or otherwise)
Best: Honestly, most of the reveals were rather underwhelming, I can't really even think of a good one.
Worst: All the one power strength inconsistencies. Plus the mere fact that Elayne and Faile are still alive at the end.

I'm surprised at how many people didn't realize that Mat was no longer tied to the horn.

I loved it. There's been plenty of discussion on TL and Dragonmount *NM*

From what I've seen, it's seen as "good enough" as the last book of the series...
