Seriously, the entire book I was scratching my head wondering why the hell the Channelers

didn't just grind the shadow armies into pulp. Much like they did at Emaryns manor in Tear. 100,000 Trollcs dead in like 5 minutes.
If you do some quick math we have
500ish AS
2000ish WO (maybe a lot more)
200ish AM
1000 WF (guessing)
1000 damane (guessing, but seems likely given the several hundred Shaido they picked up)
300 Kin (we know the total was 1400 but many never showed up and more would be weak and even more would be in Mayene)
Rough estimate is there should have been something like 5000 Channlers for the Light ... 1000 for each Army of the Light plus Healers in Mayene (seriously stupid idea, but classic AS thinking) and a reserve force for Traveling etc ....
Easiest way around these overwhelming numbers was to just say there were thousands of Sharans ... Even the fight out without being implausible.
Personally I think the book could have been a lot less poorly constructed battle tactics and a whole lot more wrapping up of plot lines. In the end the Battle brought some drama to the book, but served very little purpose to the story as a whole.

There was a HUGE goldmine of complexity that RJ planted in the story that BS just completely ignored *NM*
