Do you think it a reasonable theory that Be'lal may have known of some or all of Callandors hidden attributes, and possibly have intended to use some of the Black Ajah on hand to seize control of it from Rand? As opposed to the general default concept that as soon as Rand touched it he'd try to kill him with a sword or the OP.
