The last two books were awful, so I'm just treating A Game of Thrones as a TV series from here out. I might read the next book if people say it's fantastic, but Martin came off the shelves at my home to make room for other books (he went into the plastic storage boxes rather than the cardboard ones, but still...).

I wonder if there will be any impetus for new gatherings a few years from now. I think it would be awesome to have another New York one but work ties me down so I doubt I'd get to a gathering anywhere else. Oh well...
