Now to see if it's like ToM, where the whole was much less than the sum of its parts. I suspect the "seams" of the writing will be even more evident here. I also suspect there'll be an attempt at something profound about the end of battle, an analog of some sort for Jordan's post-Vietnam life. Those previous scenes I thought were the best in the series; I could care less about "body counts" or other expressions of violence.

Somehow, I think in the rush to learn details, things like this might not be discussed much, since this is the end...or an ending
