Who can say. Graendal wraps them so deep in compulsion that she can dig darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 08/12/2012 05:42:39 AM
they don't like to share info and any Forsaken that did get to sense his full potential didn't live long enough to pass on the information. Most of what they thought about him must be based on speculation and fear that he might actually have LTT lurking in the background ready to administer a can of whoop-ass.

To kill off a few of the others. And Lanfear was hanging around him and was planting seeds with the others. They obviously weren't going to blindly trust her. Graendal has an extensive network, Mesaana was working with the BA from pretty early on etc ... Sure it's not all first hand intel, but they were paying attention from pretty much day one.

Just how effective is your average forsaken eyes and ears at judging a male channeler? You really need to be a male channeler to tell and they have notoriously short life spans, especially early in the series.

Every scrap from their mind ... We saw her do this to the Domani lord Rand sent her. She would certainly know what to look for to get a sense of his strength and skill. Lanfear had been trailing him for months so I'm sure she had a good idea of how strong he was and without a doubt new that there was at least some of LTT floating around that mind of his. Both Graendal and Semirhage speculated on LTT being a symptom of his insanity, and had seen actual cases in their Age. And certainly once Taim is introduced the Forsaken would be 100% clear on how strong Rand had become.
Domani Drag Queen in the White Tower ... Aran'gar watch out!

I really hate to bring up strength in the OP, but thankfully it doesn't regard Egwene or any women. - 04/12/2012 06:01:45 AM 1737 Views

Aginors defeat could be a result of multiple factors. So can Ishmaels - 07/12/2012 01:24:18 PM 891 Views
Regardless, Rand was clearly in the same strength category when Aginor and he faced off - 07/12/2012 03:03:04 PM 843 Views
