let's not mix up "random" and "representative"

Egwene should have found 100,000 novices and a control group to fit into your theory.
If passing through miscellaneous villages, testing everyone, and accepting everyone isn't a random sample then god help us all.
1. The AS did not go about testing every woman they saw. They tested and accepted any woman who approached them. It's a very different thing.
2. While there is "randomness" in how these women came to join the AS camp, there is nothing to say they are also "representative" of all women with the ability to Channel. In fact we know for certain they are not representative as they are as a whole too weak.
As I've been discussing with Tor there are many potential reasons for this group not being representative of the total channeling population, personally I think it's some level of genetic culling in the region, sort of the reverse as we've seen in the TR where there is a disproportionate number of strong channelers.
