3. Androl draws on Pevara's ability and starts to lift objects in the room. Most interestingly she cannot see the weaves even though he's weaving with saidar too. I was wondering whether this was a mistake. When Sammael linked with Graendal the Shaido Wise Ones said that she was weaving a barrier. He was using saidar and they could see it, though this chapter implies that if a male leads a circle he actually uses saidar to reinforce his weaves. In a way he 'converts' it to saidin... Pevara even wonders if he is filtering it.
Women can't see male weaves, and vice versa, but the leader of the circle can see both. The Wise Ones could only see the saidar, and therefore assumed that Graendal was weaving. Sammael, being far more experienced with the True Source, could probably weave saidar in a competent manner.
Pevara said that he was weaving with saidar though she could not see the weaves. She thought perhaps that he was filtering her power.
Sammael was definitely weaving with saidar. We've seen Semirhage weave with saidin.

Perhaps, but if no on in the AoL could do it when mixed circles were common
