I loved the chapter between Pevara and Androl. It reminded me of how the very first channelers must have interacted. I found the following interesting...
1. Androl directly compares his strength to her and says that she is 'very strong'. He is very weak in the Power, but its extremely important that a male can compare his power to a woman. Androl has felt saidin in other Asha'aman though he's never channeled so much as when he linked with her, but his comment was interesting. It seems that Pevara is perhaps significantly powerful even compared to other men.
2. Pevara wonders if the strength required to Travel is the same between men and women.
3. Androl draws on Pevara's ability and starts to lift objects in the room. Most interestingly she cannot see the weaves even though he's weaving with saidar too. I was wondering whether this was a mistake. When Sammael linked with Graendal the Shaido Wise Ones said that she was weaving a barrier. He was using saidar and they could see it, though this chapter implies that if a male leads a circle he actually uses saidar to reinforce his weaves. In a way he 'converts' it to saidin... Pevara even wonders if he is filtering it.
4. They bond each other. The scene was actually quite funny. It seems that she can sense his strength in the Power using the bond. Interesting!
Any other thoughts?

Perhaps, but if no on in the AoL could do it when mixed circles were common
