Degree of slowing is the same as how long they will live - Edit 1

If you have no interest why bother responding? Was just throwing out a variety of topics to stir some discussion. If it doesn't interest you don't respond.

If you slow more you live longer. AS get cut in about half thanks to the Oaths. Thus the strongest AS live the longest. Cadsuane, Mylene and Romanda are the oldest women we've seen save for Gitara and they are all at the top of the hierarchy.

Also Semirhage made note of the cutting of lifetime thanks to the Binder, it's one of the reasons she fled. Elayne and Egwene and Nynaeve discuss losing half their lives after they deduce the effect based on the Kin. The punishment in the AoL was about being bound and losing part of your longevity, when you are dealing with people who can live for 700-800 years what difference does it make if they chop 350 or 400 years off that life? It's a huge punishment no matter how you look at it.

Strength is not irrelevant to an official posting. Joline and Teslyn noted the intentional insult of being placed in a backwater Court. Certainly Elaida's motivations were based on her Talent ... And likely Gitara's as well, but had they been women as weak as Hattori do you think they would have been allowed to be Advisor to the most powerful monarch in the land? How many times have we seen weak AS given more than menial tasks? Strength in the power brings trust from other Sisters and the ruling body of AS. Stupid, YES, but it's the reality of their hierarchy. Certainly most monarchs would have no clue that having a weak Sister for advisor was an insult, but given AS proclivities no weak Sister would be placed as Morgase's advisor, no matter how much she wanted the job.
