There's no safe haven. Even if Rand wanted to carry people away... there's nowhere to go. Shai'tan if he gets free will destroy everything that forms Creation... human world, parallel worlds like Sindhol, and all their mirror and TAR and everything. Gone.
The Mirror Worlds are just mirrors, not independent worlds.
Parallel worlds like Sindhol are touched by the DO as well. RJ once said naming the DO there would be catastophic, far more than naming him in the human world.
The people of the mirror worlds are the same people of the "real" world. During the malfunction of the Portal Stone in TGH, the characters saw alternate lives through the eyes of their alter egos there (it could mean if you entered a world where an alter is, you would actually enter his consciousness, not enter physically).
There's one DO for all, and as far as we can tell he must be dealt with in the real world, doing it in a Mirror World would have no effect. If the DO is free in the real world, he'll be automatically free in all its mirrors as well. The DO's not part of the Pattern, and he is a constant. He's not "mirrored".
