The Forsaken are so evil - Edit 1

Duh! Is this the most obvious post ever? Well not really..
While doing research on Demandred, I was reminded that he fed two whole cities to Trollocs during the War of Power. He did this because they offended him before he turned to the Shadow. This included every man, woman and child?
How can one reconcile such an atrocity? Certainly there are very few people in our history who can claim to have mass murdered so many people, for such a small crime, over such a quick period. Most of the Forsaken can boast similar atrocities - and they are responsible for countless deaths 3,000 years ago.
Do you think therefore that there is justice in this series? Is it enough to balefire Demandred for this? It sometimes seems that the Forsaken are so evil that nothing can be bad enough to make them pay for what they did in the AOL. At the same time, we see them only as evil generals and we're rarely reminded of their mass murders... we only see isolated murders from them, and their evil is 'diluted'.
Is it all unfair? Are they getting what they deserve? What more could be done? Is it lame thinking about people who died 3,000 years ago?
