Apathetic... - Edit 1

I highly doubt I will like the way this series ends. In fact, I'm 100% certain I won't like it, since we've been beaten over the head with "clues" to what the future holds. I think most anyone can see where things are headed, so I don't expect to be surprised at all, especially not pleasantly so. At this point, I feel the same way I felt when I was coerced into watching Crouching Tiger, Crappy Movie...err, Hidden Dragon. I was to the point of hoping all the characters would die just so the damned move would be over because it was just...that...stupid.
I held out some hope that it would end on a positive note for the characters/groups I've come to love, but that hope is gone now so it's just a matter of suffering through the final book and all the puke-worthy crap that will further elevate the characters/groups that need to be knocked down to their knees, further subjugate those that need to be elevated, and kill the ones who, more than any other characters, deserve some happiness and a long life. So yeah...blah...
Edited to add: I'm actually more interested in the damn fanfic I've been working on than the actual book, since at least in what I write I can get what I want in a way that makes sense and am not forced to use retarded things like dumbing down a bunch of characters to make others look good, only to turn around and write the dumb ones like they're the most brilliant things in the world and should be bowed down to all the time. That, to me, is weak writing and a pet peeve of mine. If you can't make a character seem intelligent without making everyone around her/him look like a mentally deficient two-year-old, then you shouldn't bother.
