I was just very irritated when in book 11... - Edit 1

Perrin was awesome. I thought he'd turned a corner. I enjoyed him thoroughly in that book and it was a relief because he had annoyed me from books 7-10.
Then suddenly I get punched in the face in book 12 & 13 where he's back to his pre-KoD Perrin ways. It made no sense to me. He did some cool things in Towers of Midnight but all that lingers to me is the whining (AGAIN) about being a Lord and then him and Faile having trouble again (for no good reason) and it having no purpose in the story. All of the awesome stuff he did could have been done without those two obnoxious problems. He should be an emo-band's lead singer and lyricist.
