I was flipping through ToM, and came across her chapter when she speaks to the quartermaster, but before she talks to Berlain. There's a whole bunch of self reflection in there that I had totally forgotten about, and she says that she can't even remember why she forced Perrin to jump through all those hoops in the Ways. So I think she's matured.

But still, I think her transformation has been less of an arc and more of, "oh, hmmm...let's dial it back a bit..."
