We will see if they actually MEET this deadline. alanna aes sedai Send a noteboard - 20/02/2012 01:56:53 PM
As Brandon said in his blog post, harriet may decide to push it up a few weeks and thus get the christmas sale boost. Because yes it's the last book in a very LONG involved series, but you are not looking at only pushing sales of THIS book. The release of this book will boost sales of all the other books of the series and will influence some to finally start reading the books.

I've got 3 friends I can think of off the top of my head who have refused to pick up the series until it was done because they've seen the frustration that I go through every time a new one comes out and more questions pop up then are actually answered.

Here's to hoping the hoopla surrounding December 21,2012 is just an arbitrary end date to the mayan large count calendar and we will continue to exist after that point. OR Harriet could really mess with us and push up the release date TO 12/21/12 and then we have a choice, run to the bookstore while the world is ending... or spend the end of the world with our family? Hmmmm... Decisions, Decisions...
