Who would you make them for anyway? It's not like the Generals get personally involved in the fighting and there is no way to mass produce the things for the common soldiers or even the lower level officers.



The cloaks are cool and all, but take the best swordsmen in the world, receiving the physical gifts of the bond, and encase them in unbreakable, lightweight armor, and you have a force capable of going through most armies, even channeling ones.
