But I'll recap the general jist of what was said:

No, you are wrong. Both scale and fully plate armor would be not only be completely viable but much easier to make than chain. They would also provider protection from not only slashing (like chain mail) but piercing and bludgeoning (as much as any feudal armor can and better than any in history) weapons.
The argument (and that is giving it too much credit) that cuendillar's unbreakable nature would lend to increased damage by blunt force trauma is ridiculous and ignore the very basic tenants of physics.
