Name one example where Egwene showed Rand how to be a better person, helped him become more ethical and compassionate, or advised him to take the more moral option when he had to make a tough decision. Just one.
Name one example of where Mat did this, or Elayne...
As for Egwene: she stopped him from running away in tGH. While his wanting to run away wasn't unethical by any stretch, her showing him that people still cared for him and wouldn't give up on him just because he could channel made all manner of difference. Not to mention that Rand staying back was pretty important to what happened to him in the future.
The list wasn't exhaustive anyway. Rand didn't list Lan, and that's a ridiculously glaring omission, given how much Rand looked up to Lan in the early days, and how much of Rand's outlook on his duties depends on Lan.
It's good to be right. Especially when you see Rand list his good influences in ToM
