Name one example where Egwene showed Rand how to be a better person, helped him become more ethical and compassionate, or advised him to take the more moral option when he had to make a tough decision. Just one.
She was opposed to his starting a war, but when he came to make the announcement that she feared would be giving in to that option, she was standing with Moiraine, who had urged it on him. Aside from that, she was annoyed that he was being forceful in the application of what she grudgingly admitted were good laws, and by tFoH, her sole objection to his starting more wars was that it was too much to fight, in appalling defiance of mathematics and recent previous military experience.
Even when he used the Power to molest her and Elayne, it was the stranger who was desperate for his approval and affection who actually summoned the nerve to remonstrate with him. Egwene at that point was already so enthralled with the notion of power that it would have been anathema to her to directly challenge the exercise of it.
