Dumbledore wasn't visibly homosexual in the "first Potter books?"

That implies that he was visibly homosexual in the later books, which I don't think is the case. In fact, other than Dumbledore not having any romantic entanglements with anyone over the course of the series, there is nothing saying anything about his orientation. So he could be heterosexual, homosexual, or simply not interested one way or the other.
So like Dumbledore, I'm certain Galad can be declared homosexual after the series ends, and all his previous thoughts about Egwene and Berelain attributed to mere confusion.

Galad is heterosexual in WoT. That's a big, big mistake.

I think RJ's head would have exploded if he made an important male character gay

I think she(?) thinks all good looking guys are gay ergo Galad should be gay. *NM*

I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really, ridiculously good looking. *NM*

wouldn't that make the Berelain romance full of unfortunate implications?

I would love it if Logain turned out to be homosexual or bisexual.
