Good 1st chapter of Egwene's plotline! - Edit 2

Happened quite a lot, e.g. compared to Rand's first chapter.
Egwene wins more and more sympathy by the AS (e.g. Silviana or Meidani and probably Barasine, who all don't seem to be BA by their reactions) due to her not yielding to Elaida, "embracing the pain" almost like an Aiel and not become broken. Meanwhile Elaida becomes more and more a crazy dictator and basically digs her own grave, even suggesting a 4th Oath to be obedient to the Amyrlin/Elaida..
While Elaida of course dismisses the danger of the Seanchan (ironically already suggesting that Rand might have an alliance with them, which will actually happen; maybe even before the WT attack, as I believe). Egwene shows that she is pretty intelligent, has still positive feelings for Rand and thinks that the Seanchan have yet to cut through Andor to reach Tar Valon (though this might be wrong, considering their "Air Force" ).
It was interesting to learn that Alviarin delayed to come to her punishment in this chapter. Maybe she just got some orders by a Forsaken?
We got again an example of the DO messing with reality - besides changing corridors - by changing the picture; and a cameo of weevils in Elaida's bread.
Also Katerine's red dress with black slashes was a nice allusion to her being BA.
The question is, how long Egwene can stand Elaida's incompetence and deceive her, after all she knows that the WT is in immediate danger. It seems likely that she will eventually confront Elaida in such a way, that Elaida will finally order her execution (this is indicated by some Dreams). Of course, probably Gawyn and/or the Seanchan attack and /or the Hall will make sure that Egwene won't be executed.
It's clear that Egwene is the rightful Amyrlin considering her mental attitude about the WT and the AS.
