Dice ter'angreal Camilla Send a noteboard - 18/10/2011 04:47:56 PM
I am having a minor debate with my dear husband. I think that somewhere around chapters 30-40 in TDR, while Mat is convalescing in the Tower, he sees some dice or similar in a closet (or something similar). We do not have the books at hand, and any Ideal Seek only throws up parts of sentences so short it is impossible to see what might be going on.

This die ter'angreal is supposed to have been stolen by Liandrin before this happens, taken out of the tower, but something in the back of my head is telling me it is still there, and that nobody knows, except Mat, who has seen it but does not know what it is.

Edit: found it. It is in chapter 20.

The controversy continues. I have always found this description suspicious (the fact that I still remember it, not having read the books in almost 10 years...), and I have connected it to Mat getting lucky (no, not like that). And then to the dice ter'angreal.

It seems too emphasised, too detail-oriented (yes, I know this is Robert Jordan).
