Physical beauty is unmistakable, commanding presence takes time to register. When Galad walks into a room people can't help looking ... he's the equivalent of a modern movie star, the majority of the population is going to find someone like Ryan Renolds attractive, he's got refined features, good head of hair and a flawless body. In a world like WOT an individual like this would stand out even more as only a tiny percent of the population would be able to live a lifestyle that enabled them to maintain physical beauty.
