I suppose it's possible that Moridin has been sending large bands out to places just to cause chaos, but otherwise I can't tihnk of a reason for them to be there.


I couldn't really think of a feasible reason either, other than just sewing more chaos and strife obviously. But I was hoping for something more tactical and concrete than just the random surges of Trolloc raids.


Maybe someone is putting an army of Shadowspawn behind the mainland armies? Perrin, Mat and the Band, and Galad and his Whitecloaks are all in the southwest and riding to the northeast. They wouldn't be looking for Trollocs where they are.
