There is a rule that not a foul word can be spoken about Egwene, while it is perfectly acceptable to claim she farts sunshine and is the true hero of the series. Also, those who love Egwene can personally attack anyone who dislikes Egwene, but if an non-fan of Egwene retaliates, that is unacceptable. If you happen to make an on-topic comment that is against Egwene (or the Aes Sedai, which is another "protected" group), then you get accused of thread-jacking and are smacked down accordingly. And, finally, different rules apply to different members - if you are on the owner's short list, then you can do or say whatever you wish without any interference from mods. And, ever so surprisingly, that list of people just happen to share certain opinions. If you dare point out the hypocrisy (whether on or off the board), then you'll be attacked and be called names while the person attacking tries to pretend that he shits roses. Kinda what it would be like to deal with Egwene...
