I don't think there's much to say about Egwene, which is one of the reasons the board is so quiet these days. Once you've single-handedly destroyed the Black Ajah, there's really not much more to say. Its like when a beautiful flower blossoms... attacking it and saying that its an ugly flower doesn't really get much attention, just funny looks.

That Sanderson went and Mary Sue-d Egwene?

I have barely even re-read the two latest books. I think the board is dead because Sanderson's writing boils down to nothing more than a recapitulation of the events of WoT. All the other stuff that made it interesting and gave it depth is gone. Sidious & his fellow channeling aficionados have no new developments in the One Power to puzzle over, and those of us who are interested in the society and setting have no additional material to read into. Despite the long-awaited arrival of main characters in Arad Domon, I really feel that I know little more about the country and its culture than I did after reading KoD. Hell, I think I learned more about the Borderlands from Nynaeve's visit in KoD than I learned about Arad Domon from Nynaeve & Rand spending significant parts of two books there!

RJ created all this stuff and the little details and other information eased into the writing naturally. Sanderson had to learn it, and then find a way to convey to the readers the important and relevant information to the immediate story. It is not remotely the same, and as a result, with no new material in five years, we are running out of things to say about it.
