Anyway, I think Nynaeve is the strongest woman to have lived on the mainland since the Breaking, including wilders. Obviously other women like Sharina have been discovered since then, but she's pretty much hinted as the highest strength ever seen since the AOL.


Cadsuane said 1000 years ago there were 50 sisters as strong or stronger than Moraine in the Tower. I think the further back you go the stronger the Aes Sedai were. I'd always imagined that Eldrene of Manetheren and Aemon were Nynaeve and Lan's previous incarnation. Whether or not that flight of fancy is true or not, her suicide certainly sounds like a Forsaken level channeler overloading a sa'angreal.
