I hadn't thought about all that, you should have made some kind of pros and cons list

You can then consider me as a 'no'.
I saud yes because I thought the question was: "would it bother you if..." which wouldn't because I think I won't come often on the wotboard while I'm reading TGS
I've been against it from the beginning, but the board seems to be indifferent to the issues at hand, namely that...
1. Tor insisted this week once again that there are no pre-release copies, and that Jason is the only one who has access to the book.
2. That pre-release distribution of the book is a copyright infringement which Tor are serious about nailing down on. RAFO will become a focal point for every person who has messed with Tor, even if they have done so unwittingly.
3. Even if there are decent reviews, there are bound to be hoaxes and lies which will damage our reputation as posters or as a place with worthy content.
4. Risking our reputation and exposing the board to all manner of trash is not worth it when the book is coming out in 5 weeks anyway. We've had the Prologue and the first chapter, and to go beserk for the rest of the book is utterly pointless.
Despite this, I'm a man of my word. I said I'd do what the board wants. I'll make a post at the top of the page for any pre-release content, but I'm not going to check on it even once. I'd like to enjoy the actual book when it comes out, and I don't take responsibility for what's in there. If people want pre-review reviews, they must expose themselves to potential lies and hoaxes, because I haven't read the book and I don't know what's true and what isn't. There will still be no spoilers on the main board, and people can access that post at their free will, albeit with my objections.

deleting bogus posts? In addition if they are completely spoiler free what's the point? Do you really care if dude xyz hated it? or that ms abc didn't like the gawyn parts? Is that really going to make a difference if you buy the book or not? Of couse not. I just don't see it. Why pander to such stuff? Everybody says "don't feed the trolls" but here we are on the verge of no only feeding them but inviting them in, giving them a place to stay and three squares a day.
But it looks like it's going to happen anyway. Guess I'll be spending my time over at 13th depository.

If it's going to be in a separate section, and it's spoiler free, why is "NO" even an option?
