Well I don't think B.S. did as lousy a job as so many people seem to think. But let's face it, a lot of those people bitching about him would have done so, no matter who had been brought in. I've enjoyed the last two books and I am looking forward to the finale. I just look at it as though the original teller had to leave the Inn and someone else who happened to have already heard the whole tale took up the telling of it. Its not perfect but its not that bad.
Whoever are in charge of proofreading/editing have kind of dropped the ball on both books. Sanderson's own books don't have nearly as many of those mistakes. WoT is not his own work, so he needs the help of others looking over his shoulder to check for errors, and it seems he hasn't quite gotten enough of that. Maybe there just isn't as much communication between writer and editor as we assumed (hoped?) there was.
