It'd be interesting to see his desk LadyLorraine Send a noteboard - 27/04/2011 05:10:28 AM
Particularly since he might even have to refer to an earlier book, or flip forward to a later one to check a foreshadow, or any number of book jumps.

I'm picturing one of those big architect-type desks, littered with all the books and dozens of stacks of notes, both his and RJs. It is night, and he is leaned back in the chair, taking a break, covered in ink, lead and sweat from his lamp beating down upon him. He looks at the clock and sighs at the hour. Wiping his brow, he bends back over the desk, intent once more on his work...
Still Empress of the Poofy Purple Pillow Pile Palace!!

Is it just me, or is Sanderson's re-read of WoT taking an inordinate amount of time? - 25/04/2011 08:35:10 PM 2122 Views
I would prefer it if he re-read it 5 times. I don't mind waiting. - 25/04/2011 08:41:31 PM 1090 Views

My problems with the series have little or nothing to do with Sanderson. - 27/04/2011 10:50:15 PM 823 Views
Why should you care. Just stop reading the series. - 28/04/2011 09:45:17 PM 931 Views

Then what the hell is Maria being employed for? *NM* - 27/04/2011 10:50:46 PM 436 Views
As a backup that he can go to when he can't take time to reread. - 27/04/2011 11:15:48 PM 855 Views
He probably doesn't think he can afford to skim; which bits are the trivial ones? - 26/04/2011 04:36:56 AM 886 Views
Sanderson of all people should know what bits are trivial by now - 27/04/2011 10:52:00 PM 747 Views
Maybe, but better safe than sorry. - 28/04/2011 03:28:19 PM 804 Views
Trivial is in the eye of the beholder. - 28/04/2011 09:52:52 PM 843 Views
*dry* but imagine if he got those skimmable parts WRONG!! - 26/04/2011 04:41:23 PM 830 Views
One persons "skimmable parts" is another persons treasure. - 26/04/2011 06:02:35 PM 807 Views
Oh, I don't mind how much time he spends. - 27/04/2011 05:07:42 AM 744 Views
