I read each new book primarily in the hope that it gives me more clues about the list.

Of all the idle hours I have spent reflecting on Wot over the last decade and a half, I'd break the time spent reflecting on various topics down as follows:
Is Taim Demandred?: 5%
Various post-Taimandred theories on Demandred's identity: 4%
All other plot related issues: 1%
Strength in the One Power: 90%.
That's the primary reason I read the books these days. The plot has long since ceased to interest me other than in the "I started this when I was a teenager, so I've got to finish it" way.
The One Power strength list is my obsession. Not only the order of strength, but the relative magnitude of the strength differences between individuals as well. Similar to how many medichloriant thingies did Darth Revan have in his blood, versus how many did Darth Sidious or Yoda have.
Not sure the second part will ever be answered, but the first part most assuredly will.
