It feeds, therefore I assume that it must feed to survive. Without the stasis weave, shouldn't it have starved?
However a stasis box works doesn't involve OP on the inside, therefore once the gholam is in the stasis box it works fine.
Well the part of the gateway you pass through isn't a weave. The weave is on the edges.
