My rant is not directed at the idea of a WoT movie series. My rant is directed at those who rant at the idea of a WoT movie series.
I agree with mogi67. I think it has a lot to offer.
First, Anyone who thinks the same story with every element can be transferred to film is unrealistic. These are 2 different mediums and the mechanics of the delivery methods are vastly different.
The story would have to be converted in order to fit within the time constraints and from the way information was generally passed to the reader through internal dialog.
Forgoing a film version simply because a "conversion" would need to take place is down right stupid.
They drive me insane these pompous, ill-righteous, self-deemed as hardcore, ninnies who get off by pleasuring themselves with the idea that "if you're going to lose ANY element of the original story then it is a VERY BAD idea to make a movie out of the series. If you're going to lose anything then you're not doing Robert Jordan or the series any justice". Hogwash.
Just don't watch it (PERIOD)

WoT could lose half its content and not overly suffer.

The belief that a WoT film will be produced is fantasy of a grander scale than WoT itself. *NM*
