We know she was involved with Rahvin and helped him out in the battle against Rand at the end of The Fires of Heaven. She was skulking around in the cellars of the castle for whatever reason (gathering information, laying low, waiting to meet a DF contact, looking for wine), saw him, and just fried him because she knew he was helping Rand.
