Hello all:
As I've said before, I am gradually buying up the audio books of the series as I can afford them.
I have been listening to EotW the past couple of weeks, and the other day I noticed that when the kids were running from Trollocs toward Aridhol that Mat gets a noose around his neck and is the only one unhorsed. He takes the noose off and rubs his neck. (as anyone would do) Anyway, this just was a neat little thing I had never paid any attention to before. There are lots of things like that along the way that I can't lay finger on at the moment. What have you noticed on re-reads that had not popped out at you before? I'd like to hear about them.

I thinking the hanging was a central concept for Mat's character and would have been planned early
